TransformersClassics.Com is an unofficial website dedicated to the toyline Transformers Classics. What is "Transformers Classics" you ask? It is a line of toys released by Hasbro starting in the Fall of 2006, following the Transformers Cybertron line. It is meant to be a "filler" line of sorts, making sure product is on the shelves between the end of the Cybertron line, and the start of the new Transformers Movie line of toys due March of 2007 (Movie to be released in July of 2007). So, since this "Classics" line doesn't have the time or budget to get a full blown promotion associated with it like most other lines do, there is no cartoon or comic associated with it. Due to that, the designers decided to focus on the core Transformers characters, making almost every toy in the line a homage to an earlier version by the same name. Favorites such as Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Hot Rod (here, just Rodimus), Megatron, Starscream, and Astrotrain are present. Later on, we will see Jetfire, the original Soundwave toy, all the Generation 1 Jets, and more. All sizes and price points will be available. But don't fret, these toys are good for the kids too, as the toys are modern with play features built in, just like the toys they are used to. This line should appeal to everyone!
